RMC x Knife Depot x JE Made | SKO9 | Brass

Before we get to the hard facts about these two stylish fixed blade knives, let’s first read the story of how this collaboration came about.

I have been friends with Sven, the owner of Messerdepot, for 4 years now. Since then, our collaboration has been going really well. In 2021, he showed me his prototype of the SK09 during a visit. I was immediately hooked - a small EDC knife with a fixed blade and an ingenious design by Sven. The plan was to have the knife produced by none other than JiYi (the owner of JE Made Knives). The first series of the SK09 came out in December 2022, and I was one of the first to hold the knives in my hands. What can I say? I went home with all available variants of the SK09 - all with the serial number 002. Pretty cool, right?

Before we planned the second series of the SK09 at the end of 2023, I talked to Sven and told him how awesome it would be to offer the SK09 exclusively with brass handle scales in my shop. Sven and JiYi made it possible!

Now I can proudly offer you the RMC Exclusive SK09 in two handle versions. What's particularly exciting is that the version with "aged brass" is limited to just 10 pieces. And here's the thing: There was actually a small misunderstanding during production, which meant that the brass was made much darker and with a really cool stonewashed finish. That wasn't the original plan, but the result was so amazing that we made a limited special edition out of it. Really brilliant, right?
