1966 Jungle Shirt BEO GAM
The Beo Gam camouflage pattern is an evolution of the Duckhunter pattern from the 1940s. Up until the late 1960s, the US military did not have standardized camouflage clothing, so soldiers often sourced their own. Beo Gam pieces were produced in small quantities in Japan in the early 1960s and issued to US Special Forces units. "Beo Gam" translates to "Leopard," and the pattern stands out due to its distinctive purple spots.
